Montgomery Thwarts Eugene, 5-0 Monday, May 26th , 2025 Carson Montgomery kept the Eugene Emeralds hitters from doing much damage at Nat Bailey Stadium. Eugene could only muster 3 hits and draw 1 walk against the right-handed Montgomery, who controlled them throughout the game. Vancouver won the contest, 5-0. Montgomery added 8 strikeouts in his complete-game effort. "I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Montgomery told reporters after the shutout win. "But whatever it was, I hope it happens again next time." This season, Montgomery has a 4-1 record with a 1.33 ERA in 10 starts. |
