Unknown Mows Down 15 Cyclones Friday, September 5th , 2025 Led by an outstanding performance from starter Jim Unknown, the Aberdeen Ironbirds topped the Brooklyn Cyclones by a score of 3-1 at Leidos Field at Ripken Stadium. The 23-year-old Unknown brought his top game to the mound, striking out 15 batters while allowing 6 hits and giving up 1 walk. "He made a lot of good pitches out there," Cyclones manager said. "He made some of our guys look bad. We didn't help matters, but we really have to give him credit -- he didn't make many mistakes." |
