Jersey Shore's Jenkins A+ E's Best

The High-A East presented its Player of the Week Award to Jersey Shore BlueClaws center fielder Walker Jenkins.
"His numbers speak for themselves," a club publicist said. "He's been really seeing the ball well."
Indeed, Jenkins has. Last week he went 11 for 30, batted .367 with 1 home run and 4 RBIs.
This season, Jenkins has posted a batting average of .422 with 81 hits in 192 at-bats, 7 home runs and 36 RBIs. He has also scored 29 runs, walked 15 times and compiled a .474 OBP.
