Hickory Stops Parra Hit Streak Wednesday, September 10th , 2025 Jesus Parra's 21-game hitting streak was snapped at L.P. Frans Stadium. The 23-year-old Asheville Tourists third baseman failed to get a hit in 4 at-bats in the game against the Hickory Crawdads, but Asheville came out the winner, 8-2. "I don't think the streak was ever a big deal to Jesus," Tourists manager said after the game. "He ain't that type of guy. He just wants to help the team win ballgames." This season, Parra has hit 10 home runs and posted a .351 batting average. |
