Brooklyn Sweeps into the Round 2 Sunday, September 21st , 2025 The Brooklyn Cyclones have cruised through the Round 1, easily sweeping away the Jersey Shore BlueClaws by a count of 4-0. The final blow came with a 6-1 triumph at FirstEnergy Park, which sends Brooklyn on to the Round 2. "There's a lot of focus from our team right now, up and down that bench and in the clubhouse," said Jim Unknown. For the series, Unknown had a 1.23 ERA over 7.1 innings pitched, with a 1-0 record. He was named series MVP for his efforts. The Brooklyn Cyclones don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Asheville Tourists - Greenville Drive series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
