Asheville Takes Round 1 Wednesday, September 24th , 2025 Reggie Crawford smiled when asked to describe his feelings after being named Round 1 MVP for the Asheville Tourists. "I feel like I have a new piece of hardware to put up on my mantle and a new story to tell my kids and grandchildren some day," he said with a laugh. "Overall I'm just happy we won." The Tourists eliminated the Greenville Drive with a 9-0 win at McCormick Field, which wrapped up the series 4-2. For the series, Crawford had a 0.00 ERA over 0 innings pitched. He added no strikeouts with a 0-0 record. The Asheville Tourists will play against the Brooklyn Cyclones in the next round. Brooklyn won their series against the Jersey Shore BlueClaws 4 games to 0. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
