Tillero Premier Pitcher in May Sunday, June 1st , 2025 The High-A East scribes have announced May's Pitcher of the Month and have given the award to Jesus Tillero of Asheville. He was one tough cookie on the mound last month with a fine 4-0 mark to prove it. The Asheville star made 8 starts with a 1.88 ERA and surrendered 30 hits in 38.1 innings. He struck out 47 and walked 10. Checking out his stats for the season, Tillero has racked up 7 wins and no losses in 12 starts, posted a 1.21 ERA, and struck out 81 batters in 59.1 innings. |
