Rodriguez Holds Brooklyn Scoreless Thursday, May 30th , 2024 Dereck Rodriguez had an impressive outing at MCU Park, hurling the Winston-Salem Dash to a 4-0 shutout victory over the Brooklyn Cyclones. "He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," Brooklyn skipper said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do. We hit some balls hard, but they were all right at the fielders." On the day, the right-handed Rodriguez yielded 3 hits and tallied 10 strikeouts with no walks. To date, Rodriguez has a 5-1 mark in 7 starts with a 1.72 ERA.
