Hulsizer Terrific, Takes A+ C Most Valuable Player Award

Niko Hulsizer took High-A Central by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 26.
For his spectacular campaign, the West Michigan Whitecaps star has been named the 2023 High-A Central Most Valuable Player Award recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the right fielder.
On the season he compiled a .337 batting average to go with a .432 on-base percentage. The native of Mohnton, Pennsylvania also added 28 doubles, 3 triples, 40 home runs, 124 RBIs and 109 runs scored.
He received 6 first place votes out of a possible 12. Brayan Buelvas of the West Michigan Whitecaps finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while Alexander Ovalles of the South Bend Cubs finished third with 1 first place vote.
