High-A Central Picks May's Best Batter Sunday, June 1st , 2025 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 20 Gleider Figuereo has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young West Michigan Whitecaps star can enjoy the numbers he put up in May, which have garnered him the nod as the High-A Central Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .533 average with 2 home runs, 14 RBIs and 11 runs scored. Currently Figuereo is batting .533 with 16 hits and 2 home runs. He has knocked in 14 runs and scored 11 times. |
