Nunez Sensational, 16 Ks Sunday, June 8th , 2025 Led by an outstanding performance from starter Juan Nunez, the West Michigan Whitecaps topped the Lake County Captains by a score of 11-0 at LMCU Ballpark. The 24-year-old Nunez brought his top game to the mound, striking out 16 batters while allowing 2 hits and giving up 1 walk. "He made a lot of good pitches out there," Captains manager said. "He made some of our guys look bad. We didn't help matters, but we really have to give him credit -- he didn't make many mistakes." |
