King Blanks Lansing, 11-0 Sunday, July 13th , 2025 Johnny King kept the Lansing Lugnuts hitters from doing much damage at Dow Diamond. Lansing could only muster 3 hits and draw 1 walk against the left-handed King, who controlled them throughout the game. Great Lakes won the contest, 11-0. King added 15 strikeouts in his complete-game effort. "I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," King told reporters after the shutout win. "But whatever it was, I hope it happens again next time." Currently King has a 5-1 won-lost record in 6 starts with a 1.69 ERA. He also has 53 strikeouts in 42.2 innings. |
