Brown Batters South Bend for 5 Hits Saturday, August 2nd , 2025 Dasan Brown said "it felt like taking batting practice" at Four Winds Field at Coveleski Stadium, and it showed in the box score. The West Michigan center fielder had a fantastic 5-for-7 day against the South Bend Cubs, leading his club to victory, 15-0. "I was seeing the ball very well and it was going just about anywhere I wanted," Brown said later." Dasan Brown singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and hit a two-run double in the 9th. In 60 games this season, Brown has batted at a .383 pace with 101 hits and 3 home runs. |
