Cubs Ullola Strikes out 17 Sunday, September 22nd , 2024 Miguel Ullola of the South Bend Cubs put on a pitching clinic at Four Winds Field at Coveleski Stadium, as he struck out 17 Great Lakes Loons in a 4-0 victory. Ullola was simply magnificent, holding the Loons to 3 hits. He walked 1. "I felt okay at the beginning," Ullola said, "but eventually my fastball really started working. I also have to thank my catcher for calling a great game." When asked about Ullola's performance, Cubs manager shook his head and said, "Yeah, he was good out there today. He was dominating." In 28 starts this season, Ullola has notched a 14-5 record and a 1.17 ERA. |
