The Houston Astros got a superb performance from center fielder Alek Thomas, but the Texas Rangers still won the game, 7-3. Thomas went 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. The loss drops Houston to 15-14.

The Rangers got a big hit from catcher Gary Sanchez. Facing Houston pitcher Mitch Spence in the bottom of the fifth, Sanchez pounded a 2-run double to left. His 2nd double of the season put the Rangers ahead, 4-1.

"Today was a lot of fun," said Sanchez.
