Paredes Cracks 5 Hits

It was a magical day at the plate for Arizona Diamondbacks third baseman Isaac Paredes. The 26-year-old Paredes helped lift Arizona to a win, 9-5, over the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park. Paredes smacked 5 hits in 5 at-bats to spark his club.
Isaac Paredes hit a solo-shot off Taj Bradley in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.
This season, Paredes is hitting .279 with 58 hits, 15 home runs, 48 RBIs, scored 35 runs and played in 59 games.

Luis Severino's Home Robber Arrested
Thursday, June 5th , 2025
Luis Severino was all smiles today as he told local reporters that the man who robbed his home recently has been arrested by local authorities.
"They caught him," he said. "I think I'm even going to be able to get some of my stuff back."
Severino said his Los Angeles Dodgersteammates provided great support for him while he was struggling with this issue and he believes the team has come together and bonded as a result.
"Thankfully it's a happy ending and this low-life will get what he deserves," he said.
Gerrit Cole said many of the guys on the team gave Severino a big hug when they heard the news.
"We're happy for him, it's been stressing him out, so it's nice to see it come to a conclusion," he said.
