Royals Lose By a Run at Toronto
|
Ke'Bryan Hayes was a vital contributor to the 7-6 Toronto victory over Kansas City. The Blue Jays shortstop was 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. He scored 2 times. For the Royals, the loss makes their record 12-18.
James Outman went 1-5. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Toronto. The 26-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 6-6 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Domingo German. It was his 7th RBI of the season.
"We're not exactly playing great right now," said Jim H, the Kansas City manager.
