Rutschman Helps Reds Defeat Cardinals, 10-8
The Cincinnati Reds topped the St. Louis Cardinals, 10-8, in National League action at Great American Ball Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Cincinnati catcher Adley Rutschman. Andrew Heaney got the win, improving to 3-2. He worked 5.1 innings, giving up 3 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 2. Felix Bautista was credited with the save for Cincinnati, his 8th of the season.

Early in the game, Rutschman had a bases-clearing double for Cincinnati. It was his 4th double of the season and put the Reds on top, 3-0.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Rutschman.

With the loss, St. Louis sinks to 14-16.
