The Tampa Bay Rays picked up a win at Tropicana Field, dropping the Kansas City Royals, 4-3. Tylor Megill was the difference-maker. Kansas City is 14-16 after the defeat.

Tampa Bay third baseman Abraham Toro helped the Rays go up, 3-2, in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the game tied, Toro hit a run-scoring single off Kansas City pitcher Walker Buehler.

"Enjoyed this one," Toro told the Tampa Bay Bulletin. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
