A 4-RBI performance from left fielder Teoscar Hernández, who finished 3rd in the AL in home runs with 36 in 2021, led the Houston Astros to a win over the Texas Rangers, 5-2. David Festa, the winner, improved to 3-0. He held the Rangers to 1 run on 4 hits over 7.1 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 0. Hunter Harvey collected his 3rd save.

Houston grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Hernández hit a 2-run home run off Roki Sasaki. His 10th home run of the season put the Astros out in front, 3-1.

"Every time you put a 'W' on the board is always good," said Hernández.

Texas now has a record of 15-17.
