San Francisco 4-2 Losers to Rockies
|
The Colorado Rockies and San Francisco Giants played an exciting game.
Colorado left-hander Shane McClanahan pitched his team to victory over the San Francisco Giants at Oracle Park. The final score was 4-2. McClanahan picked up the win for Colorado, going 7.2 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 4-2. Raisel Iglesias got credit for the save for Colorado. It was his 7th of the year.
Colorado used the hitting of Joey Gallo to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a solo home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Rockies on top, 3-2. For the game, Gallo had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"All my pitches were working," said McClanahan. "They were all synchronized together in attacking the zone."
The triumph puts Colorado at 21-12 for the season.
