The Atlanta Braves got a superb performance from pitcher Kutter Crawford, but the Los Angeles Dodgers still won the game, 4-3. Crawford threw 7.0 innings of 3-hit ball. Los Angeles reliever Jose A. Ferrer snagged the win, upping his record to 1-0. Dedniel Nunez shouldered the loss. Alex Faedo locked down his 1st save.
Anthony Santander, who is tied for 4th in the NL in RBI with 28, had a direct impact on the outcome. Santander contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth inning to put Los Angeles up, 3-2.
"We've got to kick it in gear soon," said Atlanta manager Steven G.
