De La Cruz, Twins March to 8-0 Victory
At Fenway Park, the Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Thanks in large part to shortstop Elly De La Cruz, the Minnesota Twins beat the Boston Red Sox, 8-0. De La Cruz went 3-4 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk. He scored 4 times. The win for the Twins raised their record to 18-17.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Triston Casas? The Minnesota first baseman had a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the first inning to put the Twins on top, 1-0. For the game, Casas had 2 doubles and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"What's not to like about a win?" said Casas.
