Colorado Downs San Francisco, 4-2
The Colorado Rockies topped the San Francisco Giants, 4-2, in National League action at Oracle Park. The standout performance belonged to Colorado pitcher and Santa Monica, California, native Max Fried. Raisel Iglesias collected save number 8. Colorado now has a record of 22-12 with the win.

Ezequiel Tovar had a big 2-run home run for the Rockies in the top of the sixth inning. With Colorado leading 2-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a slider from 37-year old right-handed pitcher Alex Cobb and swatted a home run to right. It was his 7th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Rockies ahead, 4-0.

Fried called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
