Outman Stars as Blue Jays Top Guardians, 7-6
The Toronto Blue Jays beat the Cleveland Guardians, 7-6, at Rogers Centre. The Blue Jays got a fine performance from center fielder James Outman, who went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. Ryne Stanek snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-1 on the season. Dylan Floro suffered the loss. Toronto is now 16-19, while Cleveland is 22-12.

Outman had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a first pitch fastball from Dylan Floro, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Blue Jays a 7-6 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for Outman.
