Pirates Lose to Cardinals in Walk-Off
|
St. Louis Cardinals starter Shota Imanaga was in the groove. He led his team to a win over the Pittsburgh Pirates, 4-1. After today's action, St. Louis sits at 16-20; Pittsburgh slips to 13-23.
St. Louis got a clutch hit from Alex Jackson. The pinch hitter launched a 3-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a kill shot.
"He who laughs last laughs best," Jackson said, postgame.
