Angels Win, 4-3, Versus Texas
|
The Los Angeles Angels and Texas Rangers played an entertaining game for Globe Life Field patrons.
Los Angeles Angels starter Jose De Leon pitched a strong game against the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Field, leading the Angels to victory, 4-3. Los Angeles pitcher Andrew Chafin got the win, upping his record to 1-0. Daniel Lynch IV got the loss.
Gunnar Henderson came through with a big-time hit for Los Angeles. The shortstop smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said De Leon.
Los Angeles is now 19-25, while Texas is 17-29.
