Dodgers Send Oakland Home with 2-1 Loss
The Los Angeles Dodgers had to overcome a good performance from Oakland pitcher Yusei Kikuchi to claim a 2-1 win at Dodger Stadium. Kikuchi went 6.1 innings and allowed 1 run. Los Angeles pitcher Jared Jones got the win, upping his record to 1-0. Garrett Cleavinger got the loss. Los Angeles now sits at 22-25, while Oakland falls to 24-21.

Ketel Marte, who is tied for 10th in the NL with a .376 on-base percentage, helped out the Los Angeles cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a solo home run. For the game, the first baseman was 1 for 3 with a home run.

"We had the right guys up at the right times," said Oakland manager Brad P. "We just didn't cash in."
