Mets Earn Late 1-0 Win
The New York Mets had to overcome a fine effort from Boston pitcher Ben Lively to win, 1-0, at Fenway Park. Lively went 6 innings and allowed no runs. With the victory, the Mets upped their record to 29-20.

Jose Trevino came through with a big-time hit for New York. The catcher smacked a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 1-0. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"It was a tough night at the plate," said Boston manager Chris L.
