Angels Earn Late Win
Los Angeles Angels starter Vince Velasquez found his groove in his team's 4-3 win over the Tampa Bay Rays. Bryan Abreu earned his 11th save, after closing out the game. Los Angeles has run its win streak to 5 straight.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the top of the eighth, with the game tied, Heston Kjerstad was at the plate when Los Angeles scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Angels to go in front, 4-3.

"We had a good game plan," Velasquez said, "and we were able to execute it."
