Pirates Earn 2-1 Win Versus Brewers
|
In a well-pitched game between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Milwaukee Brewers, pitcher Reid Detmers was fantastic. The Pittsburgh left-hander helped his team secure the win, 2-1. After today's action, Pittsburgh sits at 21-31; Milwaukee slips to 22-30.
The Pirates got a clutch hit from center fielder DaShawn Keirsey Jr.. In the bottom of the 18th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Pirates.
"Feels good to be on the winning side," said Detmers.
