Guardians Earn Win with Late Rally
The Detroit Tigers could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Sandy Alcantara into a win. Instead, the Cleveland Guardians prevailed, 2-1, in 10 innings. Alcantara threw 6.1 innings of 2-hit ball. Cleveland now has a record of 31-21 with the win.

Cleveland used a timely hit from Miguel Rojas to get the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Guardians ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

Rojas attributed the win to "a well-rounded effort by the whole team."
