Due in large part to right fielder Jazz Chisholm Jr., the Los Angeles Dodgers sunk the New York Mets, 9-1. Chisholm Jr. was 2 for 3 with a home run, a triple, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. With this game in the books, Los Angeles is 25-27, New York 30-22.

Los Angeles used a well-timed hit by Sammy Siani to capture the win. The center fielder socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Dodgers ahead, 6-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
