Kansas City catcher J.T. Realmuto had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 13-6, to Minnesota at Target Field. Realmuto was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 times. The win elevated the Twins to 27-26.

Oneil Cruz had a big bases-clearing double for the Twins in the bottom of the second inning. With Minnesota leading 2-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 27-year old right-handed pitcher Alek Manoah and swatted a double to right. It was his 15th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Twins ahead, 5-0.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Cruz.
