Moore Delivers Walk-Off Win for Cubs
|
The Chicago Cubs knocked off the Colorado Rockies, 3-2, in National League action at Wrigley Field. Chicago pitcher and Johnson City, Tennessee, native Landon Knack had an outstanding performance. Chicago pitcher Andres Munoz got the win, upping his record to 3-0. Alex Lange got the loss. Chicago is 30-25 and Colorado, with the loss, 33-22.
The climactic moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Chicago. That's when 32-year old left fielder Dylan Moore hit a solo home run off Alex Lange to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.
