Wild Card Game Game 1 Victory for Nola and Tampa Bay
The Tampa Bay Rays powered past the visiting Houston Astros, 5-2, in the opener of the Wild Card Game at Tropicana Field today. Tampa Bay starting pitcher Aaron Nola threw 8.1 innings of shutout ball, to lead the charge. The Rays now lead the series 1-0.

The Astros had trouble solving Nola, who surrendered no runs on 5 hits over 8.1 innings.

"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Nola.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg.
