Raucous Citizens Bank Park Crowd Propels Phillies to 4-0 Victory; Series Tied at 2
The Philadelphia Phillies and the Miami Marlins will take the Division Series to a decisive 5th game. Facing a must-win situation, the Phillies shut out the Marlins, 4-0, at Citizens Bank Park to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Philadelphia right-hander Nick Martinez did his part. He threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball.

Martinez delivered a quality start for Philadelphia. The 6-foot-1 right-hander allowed no earned runs on 4 hits over 7 innings of work.

"A confident pitcher is a dangerous thing," said Philadelphia manager Jon C. "That's what Nick is right now."

Game 5 is scheduled for Friday at loanDepot Park in Miami.
