The Colorado Rockies started the Division Series in style, winning on the road against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field by a score of 9-4 to take an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 series. Rockies first baseman Brandon Lowe excelled. He went 2 for 4 with a triple. He scored 2 times and drove in 3.

In the top of the second, Colorado catcher Patrick Bailey had a productive at-bat. With runners on 2nd and 3rd and two out, Bailey stroked a 2-run single to center. It made the score 2-0, Colorado. For the game, he went 1 for 3. He drove in 3 runs.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Bailey.
