Graham Ashcraft pitched a gem to lead New York to victory over the Colorado Rockies, 2-1. Blake Treinen earned the save, his 6th, for the Mets. After today's action, New York sits at 35-22, while Colorado falls to 34-23.

Ryan Mountcastle went 1-3 for New York. The 28-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Max Fried. It was his 12th RBI of the season.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Mountcastle said after the game.
