Not Done Yet: Colorado Win Late to Narrow Series Deficit to 3-1
|
The Colorado Rockies defeated the Chicago White Sox, 3-2, in 12 innings in Game 4 of the World Series. Making an impact was first baseman Dan Vogelbach, who went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. The win narrows Colorado's deficit in the series to 3-1.
Colorado used the timely hitting of Joey Gallo to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 12th inning to put the Rockies on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Our guys just had that look of determination," said winning manager Bobby S.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Guaranteed Rate Field in Chicago.
