Guardians Earn Late Win
The Los Angeles Angels could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Vince Velasquez into a win. Instead, the Cleveland Guardians prevailed, 6-5. Velasquez threw 6.0 innings of shutout ball. The loss makes Los Angeles 31-32.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the tenth for Cleveland. That's when 15-year veteran Carlos Santana hit a run-scoring double off Andrew Chafin to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.

"It's great to get the crowd pumped up," Santana said.
