The Colorado Rockies used the hitting of second baseman Trea Turner to subdue the New York Mets, 7-1. For the game, Turner went 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. A.J. Puk closed it out for Colorado, earning his 3rd save.

With Colorado leading 2-0 in the bottom of the second, Turner hit a changeup from Luis Ortiz for a 2-run home run. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Rockies ahead, 4-0.

"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Turner told the Colorado Herald.
