Both teams had their chances, but the Minnesota Twins eventually prevailed.

The Minnesota Twins besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Toronto second baseman Gavin Lux by beating the Blue Jays, 7-6, at Target Field. Lux went 3-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Jason Foley notched his 2nd save in 4 chances.

In the bottom of the sixth, Minnesota left fielder Rob Refsnyder gave his team the lead. With two out and a runner on 1st, Ref hit his 1st home run of the year. Toronto pitcher Brock Burke surrendered it. With that, the Twins jumped in front, 5-4.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Refsnyder.

The Blue Jays, now 27-38, have lost 4 in a row.
