The Houston Astros picked up a win at Minute Maid Park, topping the Baltimore Orioles, 7-3. On the mound for Houston was right-hander Hunter Brown. He played a principal role in the triumph. The winning pitcher was Brown, now 3-4. He tossed 6 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 10. Houston improves to 39-27 with the win. They lead their division by 4 games.
The Astros got a big at-bat from designated hitter Teoscar Hernández. For the game, Hernández was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 19th home run of the season gave Houston a 3-2 lead.
