The Colorado Rockies beat the New York Mets, 5-0. Colorado pitcher and New Braunfels, Texas, native Bryce Miller led the way. Colorado pitcher Luke Weaver got the win. He's now 3-1. Chayce McDermott was tagged with the loss. The loss makes New York 36-30.

The Mets had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Rockies going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the three-time Great Glove Award winner Byron Buxton came to the plate. Buxton hit a bases-clearing triple on a full count fastball from New York hurler Blake Treinen. It was Buxton's 3rd triple of the year.

"The vibe's good," said Colorado manager Bobby S. "We've got to keep it going."
