The Cleveland Guardians converted a terrific effort from starter Paul Skenes into a win over the Seattle Mariners at T-Mobile Park. The Guardians won the game by a final score of 4-0. Enyel De Los Santos nailed down the save. Cleveland is now 41-29, while Seattle is 25-44.

Masyn Winn, who is tied for 10th in the AL with a .285 batting average, had a direct impact on the outcome. Winn contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the second inning to put Cleveland up, 1-0.

"We take it day by day here," said Winn, "and today was a good one for us."
