Yankees Grind Out 2-0 Win

The New York Yankees beat the Boston Red Sox, 2-0, at Fenway Park. Starting pitcher Michael Wacha was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. New York reliever Michael Wacha got the win, raising his record to 3-7. Wade Miley was tagged with the loss. Andre Pallante earned the save, his 2nd.
New York took a 2-0 lead on Thairo Estrada's 6th home run of the season. The solo home run, which Estrada hit in the top of the eighth, left Boston pitcher Aroldis Chapman visibly frustrated.
"I'm just trying to make sure I'm focused for each and every pitch," said Wacha.
The win has New York at 27-47.
