Athletics Deal Los Angeles 4-2 Defeat

Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Oakland Athletics and Los Angeles Angels.
Behind the hitting of Colt Keith, the Oakland Athletics stopped the Los Angeles Angels, 4-2. Keith was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Athletics. Michael King picked up the win, lifting his record to 6-7 on the season. He struck out 12 and walked 2 in 5.1 innings, while yielding 1 run. Jordan Hicks collected his 1st save.
In the first inning, Keith had a 2-run home run for Oakland. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Athletics on top, 3-1.
Keith attributed the win to his team's "concerted effort."
