Acuna Jr. Lifts Reds to 13-4 Win

The winning streak continued for Cincinnati.
The timely hitting of Ronald Acuna Jr. helped the Cincinnati Reds down the New York Yankees, 13-4. Acuna Jr. was 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 5 for the Reds. With the win, Cincinnati raised its record to 42-37.
In the bottom of the third, with the bases loaded, Acuna Jr. came to the plate. He drew a walk, driving in 1 run off Michael Wacha to put the Reds in the lead, 2-1.
