White Sox Earn 6-5 Win Versus Diamondbacks
|
White Sox designated hitter Nathaniel Lowe left his mark on his team's 6-5 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks. Lowe, who is tied for 3rd in the AL with a .400 on-base percentage, went 1-2 with a home run and 3 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for Chicago in the contest. The loss makes Arizona 50-30.
The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Chicago trailing 5-3, Lowe hit a sinker from Joe Mantiply for a 3-run home run, giving the White Sox the walk-off win.
"We ground out the win," said Lowe. "That's all that matters."
